Re-read a thread here on the Von Tempskie Bowie by Svord. Found one, ordered it this a.m. and it will be here next week. Can't wait and am stoked. One of the few fixed blade knives I have wanted. thanks and keepem sharp

I'm jealous! I was drooling over that knife after I read the thread too. You should definitely let us know how you like it..... I want one but it has some stiff competition with the new ka-bar and condor stuff. Congrats!

Heres mine that i got in 1990...they were called the Bowie Axe..i reprofiled the clip point so it would pierce better(a mammoth task by hand!)...This is the toughest knife i have ever owned by far...you wont be disappointed............FES

Does anyone have a preferred Svord dealer? I was totally unaware that they made knives other than the Peasant, and since L6 is basically the holy grail of sword steels (extremely durable) I figured I would gives their fixed blades a try. I can't seem to find the 280H (7" Hunter) anywhere online.
