Svord Machete Tang Picture

Having been EXTREMELY PLEASED with the svord 9.75 ounce machetes, I decided to cut the handle off one to see what the tang looked like.....

I'm not sure yet. I have 12 inch tramontina's mounted in cold steel trench hawk handles. I love those things. I'm not saying I"m going to do this to the svord, but it's always a fall back option.

I love the Svord Kiwi Machete. Great chopper for the weight, and that partial stick tang really helps it achieve that performance. Sometimes more tang is actually a negative thing!
