I was browsing the Kabar site, and I came across the Swabbie. Everything about it looks awesome. So, does anyone have pics they can share? Preferably with the black scales.
 
Here are the few shots I have of mine. It is a real fun blade.

Wow, I didn't realize how large it was until it was compared to the 20.
 
It looks good with the black handle! It might be cool stripped...
 
Every time I see the Swabbie I get images of a 7yo boy dressed up as a pirate for Hallowe'en lugging this thing around and people saying "aw isn't he cute" until someone doesn't give him any candy..
 
By no means do I see the Swabbie as a toy my friend. Believe me, that thing is a beast. Probably the most loved of all the ZK series, it's practically a parang but sporting some cool pirate styling. And made with awesome steel, the Swabbie is certainly a contender when it comes to cuttin' stuff en masse. I love it. It's defs on my 'need to get' list, for sure. I just love the fact that it looks like it's just a gimmick until you lay waste to all things wooden. Just ask Jerry. That thing is a donk..
 
It'll straight mess up some bamboo. I have a series of mods planned for mine. Once my tools are in and situated, things should get interesting.
