Soooooo, this finish on the Mega Ratweiler about knocked my socks off to see this being offered. I can't help but think it deserves a thread all to itself, as to me this is HUGE news! MaxRat or RATequila, can we expect to see more offerings featuring this option? Can we order the Ratmandu off the website with this finish right now?

I am loving this finish as well... And being able to order some SR-101 RMDs in Swamp Comp off the website would be awesome!

What would be even better is a regular offering of FHFG SR-101 RMD in Swamp Comp! :rolleyes::D It would be THE iconic Swamp Rat blade. Call it the RMD 'Conda Edition - it just cuts right through the swamp!

I can already see it in green canvas and black/green G-10!

That is an interesting question indeed. I don't care for coated blades, especially those that I plant to strop, but I usually just do the stripping myself. My wife likes it better that way too :D.

I do kind of wish I would've gone with a satin-finished FFG RMD, but I'm cheap and the upcharge wasn't worth it at the time. Seeing as it could be a nice food knife seeing how it's a nicer slicer than the standard grind, satin would've been a better choice if money were no object.

Honestly, I'm just happy to see more swamp rats coming out as I think they're a great middle-ground between Busse and SYKCO, and I like me some SR101 with micarta.

Yes... The Swamp Warden will be offered Wednesday the 18th at 9:00... I personally love that finish...
