I took the warden fishing yesterday and we bumped into these two. Also came across some Elk, a Whitetail in the ditch and some huge SandHill cranes. We were too whipped to take more pics.

Awesome pics brother. We saw several in the Yellowstone area. I also have photos of a mother and baby.

Thanks man. These critters are usually more elusive. I'm not sure why they were just sky larking along yesterday. I also almost hit a moose on my motorcycle, coming into town a few years ago. My puckered hoop just about bit a hole out of the seat !

Ummm...I don't want to besmerch another man's horses, but brother, those are out of some sad stock..

These aren't the best photos, but here's a few of the ones we got to see. The mother and baby was about 5 miles to the entrance of Yellowstone, on the Shoshone River:

We saw this one in the Bighorn Mountains:

This is the biggest we got to see. It was also in the Bighorns:

Hey, that was Margaret and Little Pam. I met them a few years ago at a algae scoop lockin, at one of the local ponds. Good folks, but we tend not to hang around with them much, just busy is all, but good folks all the way.

I'll tell them they got some glam shots up here, they love stuff like that. :D

They sleep in my yard in the winter. And I live in town!

moose antlers made from BK3s :>

i was driving along the other day, and saw a large moose sitting in an algae pond just hanging out with his shoulders above the waterline. looked like an odd log, unless you saw the moose pattern :>
