Swamp Rat Avaibility For Military Deploying?

Just saw a thread that stated Swamp Rat knives are not avaible right now & nobody knows for sure when they will be avaible.

Well, I've got a friend who will be deploying to Afghanistan & her husband is looking for a knife for her & my 1st thought was a Swamp Rat.

Are any Swamp Rat blades avaible, or should I look elsewhere for her?
 
I just got mine by posting in the "want to buy" forum and even got lucky enough to find a seller in my area.
do that, or another option is checking out ebay. Obviously, either way, you are going to spend probably a good 100 bucks or more over the original prices from the swamp...but it's either that or wait out half or more of the summer.....:rolleyes:
I say front the extra cash and send her out right with a ratweiler!:D
 
Why not just order a Busse instead? Call the shop, see what they can do! :thumbup:

Strider may be another option...

Her husband (recently seperated from the USAF) p;ayed with my Busse & Strider blades & likes the size of the Strider MT mod 10 & thinks thats what he is going to get for her.

Now we just need to find a Strider MT mod 10 for sale someplace :cool: :cool: :cool:
 
You could get a Heavy Heart from the Busse Company store for about the same price you'd pay for a Ratweiler.

The Hell Razor is a great blade...and it's availiable in tan at the Co. store.
