It's called a War Hawk, it made its debut this past Blade

Not completely sure when it'll be available, but it'll before Blade next year.

hopefully in time for Christmas so I can buy myself a really cool gift this year :D

Needless to say.........I'm in!

It's Just a simply beautifully constructed work of War Hawk art!

I've been trying to talk myself into ordering one of these. To me it looks more like something for the showcase that something that i would actually use. I may be completely wrong since I have never held one though. The handle looks very thin with not enough coverage from micarta or G-10. Dosn't seem like it would be as useful and some other hawks that have thicker handles. i don't over use any of my nice knives nor would I this one but in the end I like to know my knives could get the job done if push comes to shove. I hope someone can convince me before ordering starts.

I believe its 3/8" thick! How thick do you need it to be?

That seems about right, it's a nice and hefty tomahawk :D

And if you think that's thick, RMJ hawks are usually thicker  :D

Thick enough to be comfortable for a big hand and from the pictures, it doesn't look like it. But i may be wrong, I haven't held one.
I was under the impression you were more concerned with whether or not it was capable of hard use.

I haven't held one either, but them Busse boys have pretty big hands too. I'd imagine it should fill the hand quite nicely.

I am sure this question has been asked . However, I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. "What is the exact length and weight of the Swamp Rat axe?". Eric, please answer this question if you have time. Thank you.
