Okay, I found the Busse Company Store and durn near joined the legion of Hogs with a Satin Jack. If I hadn't just ordered two Rats, I probably would have bought one.

Got me to thinking...

When Rats appear at the SR Company store, is there a new link that appears there for ordering?

I found www.swampshack.com, but I'm not sure what the heck I'd be looking for if Rats suddenly showed up. It's my understanding that this is usually a "right time, right place" kind of thing where the knives can sell out in minutes. Should I get lucky, I'd hate to blow my chance by not knowing where to look.

Any help on this one would be appreciated.

at swampshack.com, click on "links", then "Swamp Rat company store", then "place order" to see what is currently available.

That is correct. When the knives come available Eric will post a date. The next in line is the tac Battle Rat aka the Rat Mastiff. It should be available sometime around the new year from what I have heard. Keep your eyes on the forums and eric will post a release date and a rough time IE between 6 and 8 PM on X date. Its usually a 2-3 hour window so you go to the company store website, the one in your previous post and you click place order and keep refreshing it until you see the knife posted.
Hope this helps and good luck in the rat race.

Excellent idea to get as familiar with the process as early as possible. My advice to you would be to get registered at ratknives.com now. This will save a lot of hassle/time for later. Also, many Rats have a document in Word or Notepad with all of their information already typed up, so that they only have to cut and paste it over to the purchase form. You might go through a majority of the process with a bracelet or something so that you'll know which information to have handy.

Depending on the knife, it could only be available for a few minutes or it could last a few hours. Larger blades tend to last a bit longer because of the price.

Good luck bro.

Thanks for reminding me, I dug up my password and went and verified my account status. That would suck if I missed out because I forgot my logon info.

Thanks. If you have a profile set up, the software will fill in much of the shipping page for you. Just have to type in credit card info which only takes a few seconds.
