im thinking about getting a knife from these guys, maybe a camp tramp or the other one i cant remember the name but it has a 9 and a half inch blade. the warranty is what made me think it is worth it. my question is r they as good as busse? i went to the busse website and the video clips were pretty wild. i know that busse and swamp rat r the same so to speak but r the knives? or should i say do they perform as well? plus, r they worth buying? or am i better off getting something else? if they r worth it what is the best bang for the buck? i'll be using it for just about everything.

mafiachap,
Welcome to the Busse forum. Here INFI RULES!!:D ;)
Which is better Busse or Swamprat?? I would say Busse has
the edge in performance. Bang for buck, probably Swamprat.
INFI has the edge in corrosion resistance.
Check out their site if you haven't already.

INFI has a small edge in performance over SwampRat's SR-101, but, as Chip said, SwampRat has better bang for the buck. INFI has significantly better corrosion resistance than SR-101.

One major factor is the handles. If I were you, I would try to handle both at a show and decide which you like best. They are very different, and both have their advantages, IMHO.

Either way, you're getting an amazing knife :D

Ditto the above, the Swamp Rats are great band gor the buck. Keep in mind, INFI rules! But, for the price of a Busse Combat, you could get a couple of Swamp Rats. Not unlike a Rolex and a Timex, both are rgeat in achieving their respective design criteria.

After careful reconsideration of this matter, I have decided that you should get both.:D
