Hi Folks,

I am new to this forum('ve been only reading it for a month or so).My question for all of you guys is which of these two great folders should I choose? Having in mind the knife is going to be in constant use :p !!!

Thank You
Martin

The 630 is a heavier folder, even with a Ti frame. The ergonomics are different, though both have a good feel to them.

Another note:

The Rat Trap has G-10 handle, with fully imbeded liners on both sides for maximum strength.

The blade on the Rat Trap is a full flat, cuts quite will.

I own the 630 skirmish and would not recommend it for most people to carry as it is very large, but if you are used to carrying a Strider AR the skirmish isn't so bad. I am assuming from the pics. I have seen and the description of the imbedded liners that the Rat Trap is quite similar in design to the Blade Tech series of knives, which would make an excellent and strong knife for daily use. Not to mention who can argue with a flat ground blade for cutting? Now if only the Rat Trap was tip up carry, then they would have something really special!
