This one is sold. Thanks for the prompt payment, Parker.

I have one Wally Hayes Rat Tail that is like new. This knife has a Buy Brown sheath.

If you want the sheath and Rat Tail the cost is $130 shipped. SPF on the knife and sheath combo.

If you want only the knife the cost is $100.00 shipped.

If you do not want the combo the sheath is already spoken for. If you do want the combo you have to act before next weekend, since that is the due date for the sheath to be delivered.

POMO or cashier's only. No personal checks. They just take too long to clear.

E-mail or PM is fine. Thanks.

Price reduced.

Remember, this one comes ready to wear. :D

If anyone is needing the sheath alone I will take $30 shipped.

Email sent on sheath... I'll buy the sheath alone if the Rat Tail doesn't sell as a combo by this coming weekend. This is a second chance for anyone that was looking at the combo.

The combo is still available for anyone interested until next weekend. After that the sheath will be delivered to Shane.

Combo for $140, or Rat Tail alone for only $110.

Thanks.

It's a means of getting your sale thread from the bottom of the board back up to the top. ;)

What the hey, Terry, mail sent on the sheath and the knife.

I've never understood why the knives are sold without sheaths?

Thanks

To keep prices down- most people will seek custom aftermarket sheaths for their quality knives. Like the one with this knife, for instance. . .
And then a cheaper factory sheath gets laid aside.
Of course there is often an optional factory sheath available, such as the one for the Ratwieler.

congrats on an awesome knife.
I am surprised it was here this long. . .

Sold to Mr. Parker pending funds.

Reply to Mr. Parker will be sent shortly.

Parker,

Eric Isaacson commented on this once, and basically said that no one can be pleased when it comes to a sheath. Therefore, it is easier to not fool with offering one and pass the savings on to the customer.

As Fink pointed out, there are so many sheath makers out there that know their stuff there is no point in buying a factory sheath to begin with, unless price is an issue.

Thanks, and have a great weekend.

Terry, mail sent back, I'll hit the post in the morning - I understand Eric's point, BUT I disagree with not sending a sheath with a fixed blade knife. A Sheath is an integral part of a fixed blade, insofar as you `need a way to protect the knife, protect yourself from it, and to carry it unless it is a kitchen knife or similarly used in one fixed location.

I have sent many a knife off for Kydex and will continue to do so - best stuff on the planet, especially if done right. Thanks again, guys!
