Swamp Rat - Scarce in the secondary market?

Is it just me or are there fewer Swamp Rats out there in the secondary markets?

When I was looking a week ago, it looked like I could get a RW or a HR.. I decided to get a new m6 though.


...and now I'm thinking about an HR They're a little smaller than my benchmade rukus edc.

You can still get pretty much what you want from the old line at the bay or the exchange forums.

Swamp Rats are scarce on the secondary market because people actually USE their Rats.

Scarce? I just scored a ratchet and a shakerII on the sale forums--cheap! Cheese, Grommet, cheese!

Depends on the day/week. There are something like 465 Hell Razors up for sale right now. In two weeks, someone will say, "Gee, where are all the Hell Razors?"

Same with Swampies. Average time to get what you want at a DECENT price? Maybe 4 weeks tops. Part of the fun is scouting.

I just bought a sterile brand new Camp Tramp from a member on here. Ya gotta go to the people who live in the Swamp, and convince them to give up theirs .

I read about this extravaganza thing. I read the rules and I think I get it, but I thought it happened on 9/16...

The Extravaganza that you read the rules too has already taken place. Jerry does a few a year, usually only announced shortly before they take place. Another reason to watch the forums every couple of days.

It sounds like there is going to be one in conjunction with the Knob Creek machine gun shoot (Busse/Swamp Rat sets up a table there also) which takes place next weekend. Watch these forums for specifics.

Next weekend I'll be staring down a campfire in the sierras, thinking about bucks that haven't had a chance to get away yet.
