Hi Folks

I've been out of the loop awhile with these knives. I just saw on youtube of all places a Skeleton-style Swamp Rat knife. Is this true? It looked just like the Skelly Game Warden knife from Busse. Anyone know where I could get one? Thanks!

Yep, these came out at the company store I think about five? months ago...

right now the only place you can get one is the exchange or a certain auction website...

Ok..Thanks..Do you know where any pics are located? For some reason I can't search on this forum anymore. It's driving me kinda mad! I'll look on the exchange and ebay I guess..Thanks!

Your PM function doesn't work here. If you PM w/ your email I can send you some pics I have and the wrap I did, when I get some free time to upload pics onto the computer...

There was also a thread awhile back on how to make different wraps... it's actually a lot of fun and not too hard at all!:thumbup:

The Swamp Warden is not currently available, we had a few at the Knob Creek Show last weekend, but they are no available at this time. They do show up from time to time at shows and I may get more in the future to sell through the Company Store, only time will tell. I'd hoped to get more than I did.

There are some great pics in the last pages of this thread.

To my knowledge the first place they showed up was Blade West 2007. Then they hit the company store.

I saw two at Eugene and if I remember correctly 360Joules said they were left overs. Keep cruising the exchange and hit up any of the shows that Swamp Rat is at you never know what might show up.

They are an awesome EDC. I love mine. I need one in INFI now though. And more black ones. There were some scotch dispensers on the Busse site last time I checked. Similar sized blade ,skelly but with a weird handle. They both make great neck knives. The Swarden makes a good hunting knife as well.

I resisted while they were available - BOTH TIMES! Then realized I needed/wanted them.

Waited for a while for them to come back. Then I bit the bullet and bot them on the open market. I probably averaged about $85 ea shipped. Not too bad. %wise it wasn't good. Mark-up overall was fine.

I've believe I've got the one in the vid. :)

I picked up a second sterile OD Green SW and found a great sheath for it as well..those BRK&T that hold the firesteel and small blades like the M.CII or PSK...holds the SW perfectly and a LMF firesteel & easily carried in the back pocket...

I'd like to get my hands on one sometime as well, sweet looking little neckers.

Longbeach - did you make the brown little leather sheath pictured there??? I like that and it doesnt look very hard to craft, if i might say so. Im not sure how to sew the leather together but im sure i could figure it out with some trial and error. What kind of leather did you use?

sorry for the double post.
