Hey guys , can someone tell me the name of the bttm knife in this picture?

It looks just like my Desert Jack. Did it come out in any other configurations? Any Satin?
Anybody know where i could find one?

Desert Jack was the same blade. The Swamp Rat Tactical line was the unveiled concept. The Ratweiler was the only one that made actual production.

The upper blade, later renamed the Rat Mastiff, saw limited production. The bottom blade was only released to the public as the one-time mil-overrun Desert Jack.

My attempt at recreating the infamous photo you posted. ;)

Hi Kelly,

That is what eventually became the Desert Jack. It was only released in the tan/tan configuration.

Since stranger things have happened, if you DO find one in black/black I'LL TAKE IT!!!

:D :D

PM,

That is by far one of the best Rat combos out there.

The Desert Jack rocks! I didn't think I would forgive the Bully for not getting us full production of the "bottom blade" out... then we got the Ratmandu! All is forgiven!

These are part of a military overrun and will only be available for a very short time. . . The price is $138.95. The sheath is not included and there is not an optional sheath available at this time. An optional sheath will be made available once these become a regularly offered item. We are not certain when or if the desert tan configuration will be offered again.

The Desert Jack has an overall length of 11.5” and features a 6” blade of 3/16” thick differentially hardened SR-101. The handle is Tan Canvas Micarta.

These are available for immediate shipment.

Good luck!

.... but, the RMD is a better user in my book!

Camp Tramp
HRLM
Bog Dog

..... All rank VERY high on my list as well.

nice pics. very good-looking piece.

personally, i like the look and shape of the mini mojo :)

Thanks all,
I like the desert jack very much. I have two of them a user and a new one. Brian from Okuden has my new one right now making me a couple kydex sheaths. If any of you want a sheath he can use mine as a template for your sheath while he has it.

I have a OD/Blk Ratweiler and I love it. The new Chopweiler handle configuration does nothing for me. I will stick to picking up the old ones. I have a couple ratmandus as well and for me the older designs are far more desireable. My Rat Hunter is classic.

I will be keeping my eyes open for a Blk/Blk Jack. ;)

Too bad I wasn't around when they had the Ratweiler and Dessert Jack. Oh well...=(...lets concentrate on the future!!

I was around when the RatWeiler was released... I wish I had known what I know now. I would have stock piled a few extra models!! :)

what is the main difference between the rat and chopweilers??? i have wondered this for some time now. any help...

reconseed,

Look at the cntr row, 2nd one down is the RATWEILER, and the 4th, 5th, 6th are the CHOPWEILER. You can see the diff between the OLD pattern, and the NEW pattern. #2 Yesterday, 01:40 AM

here's what you get:

Nice pic and nice collection of Rats!!!

Go back over to the post of SWAMP PIC by me and you'll see the diff. Tried a copy paste over to this thread and it didn't work.
