Swamp Rat Waki (Tanto)

Hey everybody. I have recently been bitten by the Busse bug, and honestly only signed up here to frequent the "for sale" section, in a quest for Busse's(pork shank and battle maiden to be exact). I have been a blade-o-phile since childhood, after first laying my hands on my fathers issued Randall fighter from Vietnam(he was LRRP with 75th rangers). I have been doing research on Busse's lately and had no idea of their quality. I fear this is a new addiction that will not end well for my checkbook. I barely survived my HK bug of 2005. Anyway, since I'm here, I figured I would post up a pic of my newest acquisition, I think it may be one of a kind.

Behold, my Swamp Rat Waki with Tanto tip. It is Sage w/black and green G10. Sorry for the low quality pics.

I hope to be able to contribute to the forum in the future, and not just exploit its classifieds.

That's interesting, I didn't know the Swamp did any with tanto tips

Most Japanese Tanto points are curved not straight, fwiw.

Yep, bought this as a wilderness tool. I was in the market for a nice axe for a while, was going to get a Gransfor Bruk. IMO this covers more bases as a tool. Machete, hatchet, and weapon all in one. I am going to use the hell out of it in the Washington and Arizona wilderness.
