Do swamp rat knives hold their value? I'm looking to pick one up for my collection. I don't know much about them. Any advice?

Swamp rats are deffenately worth the money....if anything their a bargain for the performance they give you. I love my camp tramp and i have a howling rat on the way and also plan on possibly buying another knife(s) from the new line up thats coming out.
check out their site http://swamprat.com/ while your there you might wanna check out the rat chat too.
youll see that many people agree that swamp rat is top of the line when it comes to performance.

Swamp Rats do not hold their value. The durn things keep doubling and tripling in price.

Right now no one but the wealthiest, or craziest, can afford to purchase a Rat on the secondary market. (I have one, thanks. )

Rats are a seriously good investment. I am not kidding.

Right now they appreciate in value, sometimes even with a fair amount of use, but the company's too young to give any answer with as to the long-term investment value. Considering many knives of lesser quality currently sell for more money, who knows?

Can't go wrong with swamp rat. IMO they are made for using, so if you get one, use it hard...

Excellent quality at an affordable price. I have four Rats, and will buy more.

Secondary market prices might stabilize once the new line is released, but quality generally holds its value.

I tried SOG, Buck, Kabar, Cold Steel, Fällkniven.. But the Rats are all I need now.
I have a Ratweiler, a Bandicoot and a Rat Trap. Waiting voor de Satin Jack to appear to complement the collection. They are stunning in comfort and performance.:D

Nice day..

Yeah : i've waiting for my CT for nearly 1 year but i can say that after receiving it, i'm totally in love with (as in love as with my my NIB Busse FSH... )
For instance, he's still NIB but after destroying my CU7, it will be the next (and maybe the last, due to is toughness ...:D )
Definitely one of the best bang for the bucks ! Even at 250$, a CT is still a very good purchase !
The only things i like best in its size is customs knives (because they're more beautifull and unique)... even if i'm not sure that those customs will be as tough as the CT or the FSH
