Y'all give Eric a chance to unpack and take a deep breath! sheesh! :p

I'm going thorugh widthdrawls too, I miss my Swamp. :o

I wasn't asking to be pushy. I was just making sure the problem was not on my end. Last week, it was very intermittent. It would work at home, but not on my work computer. My home computer took a dump, so I was just seeing if anyone else is actually able to get in.

Sounds like I am not alone.

We are back up at the Swamp!

Yeah!

Don't forget to post on both forums....post early and post often

:D:D

no no no, twas not aimed at you, only Q ;) If only for his preoccupation for the Manix. :p :D You have excellent taste in hats so you do no wrong. :)

course, when it comes down to brass tacks its all porkersons fault anyhow.

I'm gettin' a DNS error and it's not my issue. Reboot your local machine and see if you can still access RatChat.

Working for me MrManix. :p Might try to restart IE, sometimes your cache gets funky.

 Dude, I know...I'm running MSSQL Server on a PowerEdge 2600 dynamically generating web pages on the fly...in my attic. :D I know how this stuff works. Perhaps you're using cached DNS, which is why I suggested rebooting the local machine to kill your DNS cache. If you do, my bet is that you'll be thrown a DNS error when you try to access RatChat at...

http://www.swampratknifeworks.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi

Of course I was wrong once...back in 1986 I think it was. :D

I dunno. I just Remote Desktop'ed into one of my machines at home and I can get into RatChat...but I can't access RatChat here at the orifice. Go fligure. :(

When is swamprat.com getting a make-over, it's been completely dead for well over a year. Not to mention it's bad for buisness.

The issue is with the DNS. My home network reports that www.swampratknifeworks.com answers to 74.126.194.83, but my orifice network reports 64.177.241.122. Perhaps they moved the site to a different ip address which hasn't fully replicated. Or maybe it has fully replicated and therein lies the problem.

Gag me with a spoon. :thumbdn:
