Swamp Warden handles??

Anyone know where one could find some micarta handles for a Swamp Warden? I saw these in a post by Spyderphreak and they intrigued me. Hmmmmm, OR, could there possibly be an option to send this in to SwampRat and have some handles permanently installed? That might be interesting as well. If not, I may just have to make some myself.

Shoulda just PM'd me. ;) BPiatt made them awhile back. I'm pretty sure he sold them all and don't think he planned to make any more.

Wish I'd bought more than one pair, those are some great feeling and looking scales.

Now I have handles that I could sell for more than a knife they were made for!!! ;) :D

Almost wish I didn't gift the second set...
 
I bought one set alone and a warden already fitted with them, what a difference they make to an already great little knife ..!!!!

Sadly no Pit.
Ben did a small run at work (don't know exactly how many), but he first got a bunch of folks to commit to a number, then with permission from his boss set the machine and made them in a few different materials.
An issue was discovered due to slight dimension differences between first and second run of Swamp Wardens.
I guess the process was more effort than it was worth because the idea of scales for Scrapivore never took of.

Swamp Wardens are by far my favorite skeletonized blade. The Muddy has eluded me so far, but I'm glad to see they do exist :)

I have two sets of those grips and they do truly MAKE the Warden. It is a great skelly blade but it is a whole other thing when you add the grips...!!!!!!

A set with a stripped warden got away on the EX yesterday :( ....and the price was right!! :( :(
 
I wish I would have snagged a warden. If they did another run WITH scales...no brainer for me. I might even buy two. :D
 
Just received the warden with scales i picked up the other day on the exchange... Man, this thing is killer! Right in the pocket it went as a fixed edc. Nice compliment to a traditional. Perfect size... Fits the hand so nice with the scales.
 
If anyone is looking, Just found a set of orange G10 for the warden on the Bay. Someone better grab 'em!
