Swamp Warden or Regulator?

Well, this month I got only about $100 to spend on knives. I've got a RMD and a M9LE on the medium to large size and a HCLE on the smaller side. Which of the two would you buy? Its seems that the regulator is a lot of knife for the money, but I tend to prefer thinner knives(I sold my DDF to buy the M9LE which I like twice as much). I am leaning to the swamp warden. Just thought I would see where your money would go.
 
Similarly, I decide between Regulator and RMD... And my choice is RMD !!! But then, Eric said that numbers will be limited, so if I wont score anything, I'll keep the cash for bussecombat.com offer.
 
well you could buy 2 wardens and 1 regulator ~200.00 then wait a while and sell one of the wardens for a marked up price and that will come close to covering the cost of the regulator then you will in a sense get both knives for the price of the Regulator alone :D;)

You can pay 50, but that's your prerogative, I'll pay whats asked when they come out. I bought when they were originally offered. Nuff said.

Calling "liar" will only cause trouble, before you call bluff, saying something is hard to believe is calling the person a liar.

Let me make it clear that I wasn't calling him a liar, or throwing mud, or any other negative way my remark could have been interpreted.

Imagine I said that sentence with disbelief like "Wow, they will only be fifty bucks?" I said I find that hard to believe because of the amazing quality of those little knives, I would think they would cost more than fifty bucks. I'm not calling him a liar but simply expressing my amazement that they would be that price.

Please don't interpret my words incorrectly here, though I know it's easy to do on the internet as no inflection is there. I hope my meaning is clear now.

If I remember correctly the wardens originally went for 58.95 (I said if I remember correctly, a lot of beer has passed over my lips since) so that said hopefully they will be priced around the same :D
 
That is excellent. If that price remains I will certainly buy a couple for myself, and maybe some for Christmas presents this year.
 
I think the regulator might be a little easier to find later on than the warden (at a closer to base price anyways).

Either way you can't go wrong though!
 
If you didn't have the RMD, I'd say Regulator. But you'll get almost the same blade (a bit longer, obviously) and in SR101.

THAT said, I'm going Regulator - because I'm up to my eyeballs in Wardens of all flavors. :)

I loved the full flat ground test team version, but the release one is a saber grind, which I'm personally not in love with, and since they didn't change the guard (my only real complaint about the TT version), I'd opt for the more practical EDC sized warden. I'd go into more details about why I'd make that choice, but I "complain too much" so I can't offer my opinion beyond that :rolleyes:
