Swamp Warden/Scrapivore Micarta Scales

Has anybody tried making some of these before? I was thinking about getting some micarta and attempting some (though it would have to be all by hand since I don't have any power tools) or maybe finding a maker that would make them for me. I was thinking of making them the same way the Izula scales are made with the liner and screws holding them on.

Pics/links/more info to your idea would help a lot. In general, it's not difficult to make a set of micarta scales.

The scales just have a liner (glued?) attached to them that fit into the cut out of the handle and then two screws hold the scales together, so basically I'd just need the liner material, micarta and screws. Not sure what the liner material is though or where to get it, I was looking at knifekits.com for micarta, they probably have screws too I would think.
