Hey Eric, and/or sheathmakers, how about a horizontal carry kydex/concealex sheath with an integral belt clip instead of that monstrosity they call tek-lok? Something that could be carried on the left side of center and never get in the way, but still hung the body.

Any takers???

I'd be interested to see any and all sheaths without the tek lok. I think that the tek lok pushes the sheath way too far off the body.

ah, sorry it took so long, here are pics of steelnut's new moveable pocket clip. you can adjust the carry height and direction, and the velcro isn't hook-and-loop, so it won't snag on anything if it's exposed. pretty slick setup, and the velcro is solid. the sheath isn't going anywhere unless you want it to.

Velcro, huh?

Never would have guessed it...

That is actually secure enough to wear on your belt like that? Even horizontally?

(I was just thinking about clipping it to my pocket.)

yeah, he said it's pretty burly. you have to REALLY pull to get the clip off. it'd work great as an in-pocket sheath, but for right-side carry you might want to have him mount the clip on the other side.

It's the stuff you use to mount a navigation system on your car dash.
I believe Bud Nealy is the one who came up with the idea to put it on a sheath:thumbup:
