Just mailed this one to Swamper and told him I'd post it here for him. He wanted a combo carry for his Howler, similar to the design I made for wetdog's Busse PR. This is the design we came up with. It can be carried either vertically or horizontally, left or right side draw.

Hey Gundy -- on this one I used synthetic sinew, about 70lbs test. It might have washed out some color in the long triple-satellite bounce to your place !!

Mike,

VERY cool!!! Now ya got me thinking again. The versatility is amazing. BTW thanks for talking me into the pouch. You were absolutely right. Next blade I send you I'm not even going to tell you what I want, just let you design what I need. Thanks.

Guys,if Mike offers an idea...listen to him.

Why shucks Rob, you ol' Dawg you, you make Mike blush !!
Okay, let's put this in perspective just a bit. I do a lot of sheaths, so I should know a little about them. But it was YOUR idea which originally inspired me to adapt the sheath to the horizontal mode, and it was conversations with YOU that made me believe you also needed a pouch to meet your other requirements. Then Swamper and I put our heads together to make one to meet HIS particular requirements. Guess what I mean to say is I don't make these for my needs, I try to make them for yours. And believe me, I'm learning a little something on each new one I do..
Pleasure working with guys who know what they want:D
