I'm pretty confident all of those Dog Skinners were D2. Very nice knives!

The Dog Skinner is D2, and that one is a custom as well. The BB sheath represents a $35-50 value on top of that, so you have a very nice value-package there.

thx for the info guys, i read on the swamp they were d2, but wasnt sure if they all were, since this had different scales. i didnt know if it was custom/variant or a later production model.

I put in my 4th to agree.

I am under the strong impression that ALL of the Dog Skinners were D2 including the Double-Cut two-tone handle Extravaganzaaa blades like the one shown.

The Dog Skinner does not have steel info on the blade.

Some of the Bog Dogs were SR-101... different knife.

To my knowledge, all of the Bog Dogs that were SR-101 had SR-101 printed on the blade. The Bog Dogs without any info about steel were D2. But, again, the Bog Dog was different. It had a similar blade, but had resiprene "mudder grips".

The Dog Skinner is a VERY nice knife!!!

The Desert Jack is an Awesome classic blade as well. The Desert Jack IS SR-101 - .... With a Gorgeous Temper line under that coating ;)

Two of Swamp Rat's Finest!!!!

.

blade length 4 5/8
overall length 9 7/16
blade thickness 1/8-3/16

info from the swamp

The Skinner seems to match the description of a custom from the Minumental Extravaganzaa (black and tan g-10's?). If that's the case that's an amazing price without the $50 sheath. Nice one bro.

the skinner is a custom from one of the ganzas, the d. jack doesn't need introduction. great knives and good prices and marc can be trusted, surprised they are still here.
