ITE the 425 that I carry does not have those great signatures on it. Still like to carry it though, because of who gave it to me. Thank you Larry. HL

I4Bucks, I wouldn't use that (425)... I would find some other knife to use... But someone did and that's cool.... It's a tool...

Well Easy,

You cant hit a grandslam, score a touchdown, shoot a hat trick, roll a 300 game ever time(at the same time).......though Lord knows you try:) Nice pick ups any way. Thats cool that someone used that signed 425. My daughter uses hers which is signed by Chuck.

I like that 119. I'm gonna have to break down and get one of those some day... been meaning to for a while now, but other knives seem to cut in line in front of it.

Thanks, I know I can't find a pile or a bag of knives every time... But it's always nice to find something out there... And I was happy with these two... :D ...

You should get a 119... It's a great knife to have... I hope they never stop making them...

Consider this......if you had to haul a huge, heavy bag home every time.......it would soon become work instead of fun.

;)

Well, you can't always hit the mother lode Armand. What you did find is more than likely more than I could find where I live.

Dave, I never expect to find anything when I go out to the swap meet... I buy and sell old toys and misc stuff... That's what I look for the most... But I do hope to find something made by Buck... It's the Hunt that's fun... Boy, but it's great when I do find Bucks... I also like to go out to the swap meet and just hang out with some other Knife guys I know... Than after the swap meet I like to go over and hang out with Leroy for a while and watch him work on some knives that belong to some of you guys here on the forum... ;)

But, I do wish you guys had a swap meet like mine here in San Diego...

There's work and there's fun. They are different as East and West.

Never the twain shall meet.

ITE I agree that it is the hunt that makes it fun. When I get a chance to go out and look for knives I never know if I will find one, or find that special one. This year alone I was able to go to one gun show with limited funds, and brought home a one line 110, and a two line 118. It was like christmas all over again that day. Very fond memories of that time too. HL

Yeah......or to put it another way--if you score every time........you lose the definition of score. It becomes business as usual.

It becomes predictable and boring........and also becomes too easy.

Which, paradoxically.......makes it work.

:)

I just try to have fun, when I'm on the hunt... I get lucky some times... I come home with nothing lots of times... ... :) ....
