swap out swisstool spirit tools

I'm looking to add a truck key to my multi tool as a back up, unfortunatley the swisstool doesn't have a screw or bolt holding it together it looks like a rivet.
Is there any way for me to DIY this?
 
You would have to drill and tap the pivot, like this. But it is doable.

I guess anything is doable, if your skillset or credit card is big enough. :thumbup:

That depends on why you have your truck key on your multi-tool - if it is so you can get into your truck when you have locked it with the keys in the ignition then you wont be needing to hang the multi-tool off the ignition at all.

Personally I think it would be easier to put a spare key in your wallet or on a necklace or get an alarm fitted that has remote locking (so you lock the truck while holding the remote & keys - no locking of keys in the car possible).

but it could have been on a bit driver, can't remember specifically
