Hi,

I just got a SWAT balisong, a result from trade with blade 420 (very very nice guy, and pleasant to deal with).

I have some quetions about it though :

1. Which one is stronger, Benchmade or SWAT ?
2. Can SWAT be used for heavy manipulation ?
3. Are the pins on the SWAT adjustable ?

Thanks in advance guys.

Joe

1) Answer to question 1 can be found here:

2) Yes. Go ahead and use it for heavy manipulation, my 2 users (1 Aluminum, 1 Brass) all held up well. I found the Aluminum one to requires more effort to do the momementum moves, but it still swings well. Watch for the pinching as indicated by the others.

3) Yes, the torx screws are adjustable. I'd recommend loctite at the proper setting to keep it in place.

Hope this helps.

I'm sure you'll like it, and I can't wait for mine to come (43BLK):D .
(by the way, excelent transaction. Very nice. I can't wait!!)

Hehehehe

Thanks for the reply guys :)

Well, when I flipped it, I felt that Benchmade was better. SWAT is kinda stiff at the beginning. But then I could find something better about SWAT that I can't find about BM. It is longer :D

So, when you do manipulation such as Y2K rollover, you have better balance.

That's just my 2 cent.

BTW, have you guys heard about Tachyon yet ?? It is November now.

Thanks again,
Joe
