Anybody know a maker that does kydex belt sheaths for the SWAT balisong, or for custom balisongs?

Thanks guys,
Reed

Now, you know you drop me an E-mail and I won't steer you wrong. (Especially since we are bouncing almost a 1/2 doz. daily on "Projects." :D )

Contact Clay, not only can he do it, he has an understanding of the Balisong that other Makers might not. He makes great stuff. The materials are of course, top rate, but his execution is clean, crisp and precise.

Well, I haven't made any horizontal sheaths for those yet. They're so long that I didn't think anyone would be interested in carrying them that way.

I have made a few cool "In the Pocket" sheaths for them though. It stands the Bali vertically in your pocket (Latch end up, or down).

The sheath itself is actually loose fitting on the Balisong (The tension of the pocket keeps the Bali in place). But it's easier to get it back in the sheath that way......... easy IN, easy OUT.

I would be more than willing to try whatever it is you have in mind.

E-mail me!

Could you post some pics of those new sheaths? Sounds like something I might need to get. :)

I just got mine this week and have been using it since. It works great and you can see that Clay really thought of everything on this. Now my BM42 doesn't tumble around my pocket anymore. :)

Sorry i can't post a pic since i don't have a digital camera. Maybe Clay has a pic.

NO, I don't have a picture of the In the Pocket model.

Unfortunately I was in such a hurry to get the sheaths out (I'm always a little excited when I send out a new model) that I forgot to get a picture.

I've had more inquiries about that type recently, so I've already started making a few more. Hopefully I'll have a picture soon.

I did make a horizontal for the SWAT though yesterday. It looks like a keeper, but I still think that the In the Pocket set-up is the way to go on a 5 incher.

By the way, I have a vertical set-up for a BM42 that someone ordered....... then backed out on. It clips over the pants (no need for a belt) so it'll work with jeans, gym shorts, sweat pants, whatever. It hangs latch end down and is tilted back just a hair, so it's easy to grab and pull.

If anyone's interested, please e-mail me.
