Infimandu vs. Swatmandu it is.
Ive been looking for a detailed comparison between the two for a while. So this might be helpful for some.
Ive got them both with same g10 handle option. Steel-wise, size-wise and overall shape-wise they are pretty much same knife. The main difference is a talon hole and fuller (on swat) as well as different marking and finish. As we know, infidu is satin and swatmandu is DC.
Here they are:
Handles look and feel exactly same
Thickness of the blade is also same and at specd 3/16 is .170 on my caliper
Fit and finish is excellent on both as we come to expect from Busse. Both are equally sharp.
I did not weigh them, but swatmandu feels a tiny bit lighter.
So if you deciding on which one to go with this comes down to aesthetics more than anything else.
For me, I love them both, however infidu is my choice for a user, as I prefer satin finish for every knife I use.
