I picked up my first Custom folder at Blade, this pretty Sway Back Jack from Tim Britton. (sorry for the bad pic, I have a helluva time looking through the viewfinder with my progressive bifocals, sometimes can't tell if it's focus. :grumpy::o)

I can't quite bring myself to carry it, but I would like to give the pattern a try as an EDC. I have seen the various Case offerings of SBJs, but before I get one of those, wondered if there are any choices from other companies?

The Case swayback jacks are the only ones that I have seen from a production manufacturer, but I have not looked exhaustively.

Use it. I know the prospect of using your first custom is a bit nerve-racking, but I assure you that the enjoyment you reap will make the whole experience worth it.

I've looked before and seen a few cheapies that are CALLED sway back jacks, but they don't look like the Case.

That's a beauty you've got there!

Tim's knives are great. No reason not to use it unless you want to keep it and sell it later. Regardless, Case's swaybacks are great. I wouldn't even waste my time looking at any other brand.
