I'm sure by now, you have seen a few of my knives.
I did something different on this one - who can spot it.

Folder - #426

Mammoth Ivory
ATS34 - Blade & Spring Steel

Closed - 3 5/8''
Open - 6 9/16''

Hollow Ground
Hand Finished

The knife is sold.

Thank you for the looks - and no there is not a free knife, for the right guess. :)
We will just say you have a good eye....:D:thumbup:

Have a good night.

Todd

Beautiful knife and photo! Is the pinched bolster new; or the slight swedge?

Its the swedge,NICE ONE Todd!

Nice work Todd! I would have to say the swedge also.

Ken

Looks like it possibly has filework on the inside of the spring. Beautiful knife!

I have put file work all the springs ( inside ) on 426 of my knives, so that's not it.

And I have pinched all the bolsters, accept on three knives that I can remember. so that's not it.

It is a very subtle difference. It will probably be a lucky guess.... ;)

Thanks for the compliments, I do appreciate them.

Todd

EDIT to add - Also, I have done some with slight swedges.... so that's not it.

Todd,

Change the shape/proportions of your nail pull? This one seems a bit more crescent shaped than your others?

Todd,

On my standard pulls I have been using a shaped wheel on my surface grinder but have contemplated many times using a fly cutter and milling them in. Yours looks good. Maybe share your setup via a picture?

I'll see what I can do? I sure like the way they turn out this way,

I have to give some credit here to The Old Dog, and to Reese for the help.
I called Tony the other day, and he was gone, Reese said he was getting his oil changed or hair cut or something. I know he was just out goofing off - :D
but heck we all do that, right?;)

So thanks for the help Reese, I do appreciate it -

Later - Todd
