Thought I would point out that this Ontario sword is available at Empire Knife for just $56.00. These are basically a high quality machete with a nice pointy tip. Would be a cinch to epoxy some scales onto the straight tang of this piece. I've handled or owned this entire line and this is by far the best balanced and most useful design of this series.
