In my youth I bought a three blade folding Jim Bowie Limited Edition Commemorative knife in a local pawn shop for $35 in the original box. The blade stamp is SWCUT JB1. I have no doubt that I paid way too much for this knife at the time but I thought that maybe, over time, it had become at least as valuable as what I paid for it. I assume the SWCUT is Schrade Walden Cutlery. I am not considering selling the knife, I am just cataloging my collection. Am I correct in assuming the maker and is this knife of any special collector value?

If your knife has "Jim Bowie" in scroll and "commemorative" etched on the blade, and, a bowie knife on one handle with Jim Bowie Limited Edition on the other, then it's the Schrade Bowie commemorative. They are presently selling on e bay for between about $45 and $70
