does anyone have any info on sweating on a tomahawk handle like the pros do to make it fit tight?

Lots of viewers and no one yet stating the obvious; these are 'slip fit' hangs meaning if the wood handle has a gentle taper to it the tapered-eye head will seat itself through use. Sweating might be a wonderful way of fitting a hot ring gear on to a cold flywheel so that the mated parts don't ever come apart but you're dealing with wood in this case which merely swells when soaked or steamed.

I guess that was sort of my reaction when I looked. I wasn't really sure how to respond so I passed for someone else to do it. I know there is a lot more to sweat than just water, but I feel like regardless, it can't be as good as just doing it right and applying appropriate oils.
