Has anyone heard of Linder producing a knife for the Swedish armed forces? Check out this link for a knife on auction at Auction Arms:

It looks just like an F1. Did Linder produce this before Fallkniven? Are they just one of many contractors the Swedes use to produce the knives they need (a system like that of the U.S. military?) What's up with this.

Just so you know, I'm not questioning the honesty of the seller. I'm sure he's above board. I am just curious as to the origins of this knife.

As far as I know Fallkniven contacted linder for the production of the F1, but somehow the deal fell through. (QC problems?)
So the changed thei manufacterer and the steel.
Yes the super-edge is a regular production knife of linder. Nothing fancy but a good design.

Hazardous:

I have a similiar Linder made ATS-34 super tool knife but the handle has an idex finger cutout and more rounded ergonomic appearance. The sheath also has a velcro closure rather than the snap. It is a very well made knife and I like it alot. If someone can post a picture for me I can E-mail it to him like I did for my "Chute" knife for Neil Blackwood.

For some interval Fallkniven had the F1 produced in Germany. Recently they switched to Japan and went to the VG10 alloy. It sounds like they used Linder as the German fab. By the way, some of the German companies subcontract to Japan.
