Went in to pick up one of my usual vodkas when I spotted this Swedish variety. We'll see if it lives up to the rating by Wine Enthusiast. If it really does rank up there with Ketel One and Stoli, I may have a new favorite as this stuff was extremely affordable. On a fully stocked vodka aisle, it was the last 1.75L bottle of Svedka. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. :p

It's not bad actually. A clean and crisp grain vodka. Tito's is a corn vodka, of course. I'll have to do some straight shots tomorrow for a better evaluation. Tonight, I wanted something dirty, so it's hard to judge just the vodka with the olive brine in there. So far, so good though. $22 + tax for the big bottle.

Ouch, man, Swedish vodka? The only thing the Swedes should be allowed to export are women! :p :D

If it ain't Smirnoff 'Red Label' it ain't vodka. You can slug it for breakfast and clean your paint brush with it.

Each bottle comes with a pin-up of The Swedish Bikini Team. Maybe that's why stock was so low.

Another Scandanavian vodka I sometimes drink is Viking Fjord, a potato vodka from Norway. Again, another decent vodka that is pretty affordable. I suppose I should try a bottle of Finlandia?

Now that explains a lot. :D

You should definitely try Finlandia, though. It's particularly good mixed with the Swedish Bikini Team.

WOW! That bottle is from the future. Voted best of 2033?!

I think that, if you drink the whole bottle, you think it *is* 2033.

I don't understand; we're talking about drinking and Tony G hasn't chimed in yet?

I tried the Svedka... not bad but had a bit of the 'rubbing alcohol' aftertaste to it. Therefore, I must conclude....

TITO'S remains the king! Long live TITO's:thumbup:
