**Mods - Not sure if this is the best forum for this but it is sort of outdoor related so......**

I have, yet again, found my photo in a book. Not sure why... I guess folks just don't realize that my ugly mug will dramatically lower sales.

Oh well.

This time I find my image in a Swedish publication. I don't read or speak the language, so a translation might shed light on exactly why my photo is there.

The photo was taken while my wife and I were on a canoe trip in southern Nova Scotia several years ago. Its a cropped close-up of me doing a J-stroke, which is, I suppose, what the piece is about. It was taken by the author, with my written permission, off of another forum, but I was never provided an explanation.

Any help would be appreciated.

That's Dutch, and the title is "Support for the real man," and the intro says, "Thanks to the J-stroke, I'm a king in my canoe" "It is said among canoers that if you haven't mastered the J-stroke, you are an amateur. If you are an amateur, then you don't get any respect. That's the way it is in the world."

Watchful - My bad. I thought MagG was referring to the page/chapter heading at the top of the page, but now it makes a lot more sense. I'm a bit daft at times.
