I have a close friend who is a little older, and not to tech savy. He is also very busy with his business, so I have helped him with his knife collection. He is a great guy and always looks out for me as well. He knew I was looking for a new toy, and called me over to his house last weekend. After we shot the breeze for a few he asked me how much money I had on me. Turned out to be about 50 bucks. Well that 50 bucks bought me a new Fenix TK 70 with 12 batteries and charger!!!!! This thing is a BEAST! He just felt like it really wasnt bright enough for the size of the light (he has several of the 4800 lumen olight rechargeables that are his go to torches). My wife has had a blast with this thing almost every night. It is in no way practical for anything except searching for something in the dark at long distances, but it is great for looking at animals in the trees at night! 2200 lumens on turbo is plenty for a backyard and campout toy. I feel super lucky to have such a good friend. Here are a few pics of it, the first pic shows it beside my EDC fenix. If youre looking for a light that washes out anything within 20 feet of you with white light, but throws a serious beam, and you can find one at a deal (one on the exchange last week for around 180.00 I think) this may be right up your alley.

Damian when your ready to upgrade it I'd love to do the work for you (no change of corse). If you like it now imagine it 20% brighter and with a tint of your choice (say neutral or even warm Hi cri XM-L2's copper mounted for the best possible thermal path) and better run times.

It may be a beast now but it can always be made better!

I thought my 18650 light was bad @ 300 Lumens... WOW!! That could put a hurt'n on someone!!

I think my neighbors put up heavier curtains so my wife won't be blinding them, while she is out in the yard every night lookin' for critters. Lol

$50??? That's insane! Cool light, color me jealous.
