Here is one I forged from a 16 oz. ball pein....I like the profile and the size of this one,although the 16's are a little harder to deal with,my big ham hands make it look smaller in the last pic:p---thanks for the looksee-:thumbup:-

The finish on your pieces is amazing, Butch. The attention to detail really shows.
 
Very nice - you do have big hands! Everyone at our shop says I have gorilla hands - looks like we have a lot in common...

Hi thank you,I think most of the hammers are 1080 or there abouts-The handle is Ash burned branded and grooved,sounds like torture huh-:eek::thumbup:---Regards

Ash is my personally prefered handle material. (In germany is no hickory available) It´s hard and durable. Yeah... burned branded and grooved is really hard work. :) I just finished a tobacco pipe of briar wood; that´s a root wood and really really hard...
