Sweet Lucite 118 D2...

Hello all, I got a new Buck Knife the other day and I wanted to share it with everyone... Its a Custom 118 with a Red Lucite Handle and a Mirror Polished D2
Blade and it has Hoyt Buck on the Blade... It's number 112...

VERY nice indeed! Probably will not ever be used, but D2 is AWESOME steel.

Very cool ITE.... I really like the Lucite handles. I wish they would bring them back into production, but I guess if they did, they wouldn't be as special.

I was lucky enough to snag a D2 118 few weeks ago...... having never used Buck's D2, I'm seriously impressed! What's with all the chatter about D2 "holding a crappy edge for a really long time?" My 118 takes a great edge, the microbevel is easy to maintain, and this thing holds a fantastic, toothy edge for a looooooooooooooooooooooooong time.
