I guess it’s too soon to know for sure whether it’s infatuation or true love, but I just received a Cupidganza #72 MOFBM, and can’t remember a Battle Mistress I like better.
I’ve had several BM’s, including a couple of the swedged “original 300” SHBM models, several of the later unswedged SHBM’s, a factory-wood-handled SHBM (the “wedding knife”
, a couple of BM-E’s, a standard-thickness FBM, and an FBM-LE fatty, but this newest swedged look blows me away. Plus, the heft is just right, the “semi-mags” feel very pure in hand, and the “cutlass” look has to be the sexiest, most intimidating BM profile I’ve seen so far. I even like the look of the corrugations on this blade—I think it’s the cool way they “serrate” at the edge of the swedge grind.
