Hey everybody!
My friend, Matt Draper aka Waxes Eloquent, made me a totally awesome sheath for my Busse Mean Street.
It's his world famous Small of the Back sheath!! Note the perfect fit; no excess concealex here! Note the carbon fiber clip and the low profile screws. Note the drawing angle, the static cord for security, and the pinch cord. Hell, just note how cool it is!!
Matt covers his sheaths with a rubber/leather like substance that is only found in the hot steaming rainforests of Brazil. If you sniff this material too much, you'll experience hallucinations of epic proportions, so please be warned.
I wore the MS to work for the last two days, which, BTW, is no easy feat, cause the knife weighs approximately 2,500 lbs! As Matt so eloquently put it, "It's one chunk o'steel!" But hey, I'm able to wear it comfortably and I'm lighter than the knife! I just leave my shirt untucked, and no one's the wiser.
All of which leads back to this mighty fine sheath. I know that there are a lot of proud Mean Street owners out there, and if you're looking for a comfortable way to carry the knife (or any knife, for that matter) concealed, or not, then Mr. Matt Draper is the man.
And don't sniff his sheaths too much, or you'll end up like me!!
