My neighbor asked if I was interested in a couple of knives he had, so we worked out a trade. I got these two Case knives, new in the boxes, for four boxes of 12 gauge #6 shot that I`ve had laying around forever. To give you an idea of how long, the prices on the boxes was $3.99! The Stockman is carbon, the Trapper is stainless.

That is a sweet trade. I would gladly dip into my ammo stash for a stockman & trapper. Congrats!

I wish I had an ammo stash. Nice looking knives all around. I reallydig the handle slabs. Is it stag?

Nice - a good way to turn old shot shells into something you can at least enjoy.

I like Case knives - the are good knives and have been around for a long time.

Very nice. I love the amber bone. The one I have has aged really nicely. It's almost translucent now.
