If mrn8 ever goes orange I recommend contacting him immediately for a set of these! I believe he hasn't been making them for very long but you would not have known by the quality of what I received! Besides being awesome at making liners he is a stand up guy. Thanks again bud, and I'll let you know when to start checking your mailbox
They are just thick enough for the straps on the sheath to still close but that little bit of thickness they add practically makes my 16 feel like a new knife!! The handle went from just a TINY bit too small for me to really love to PERFECT. With the other little tweaks I have made this now feels like a perfect set up for me, I might buy some factory micarta when it comes out but I really am happy with the zytel and how it feels and performs now. You'll notice it is also stripped, the flats are patina'd, I put in SS hardware (another plus is that I can now use my leatherman juice that rides in the pouch to take off the scales, no more allen wrench!), and I also dyed the sheath with dark green RIT dye.
In my tweener pouch is a (matching orange) LM Juice S2 and a ferro rod with no handle so it fits better:
Here is where I keep the ferro rod scraper:
