Here are some finished pics of the knife. Both blades are Al May fore twist damascus. 416 Stainless bolsters and awesome crackle mammoth ivory scales. Titanium liners and damascus springs. Large blade is 3-3/16 long and short blade is 1-3/4 inches. Both have half stops with great walk and talk.
Thanks for looking,
Chuck

Sweet looking slipjoint! Like the long bolsters and crackle ivory scales a lot. Works well on this one.

Like it.
Great handle to blade proportion. Gives the effect that the blade is longer than the handle.
Damascus, ivory, long bolsters work.

The blade appearing longer than the handle is a function of the angle of the photograph and the orientation of the knife (with the blade closer to the camera than the handle), not a function of the actual proportions themselves.

This is a beautiful piece, Chuck - I quite like the long bolster and the bold damascus.

Thanks Guys. I was going to use damascus bolsters but felt that it would make the knife too busy. I also re-edited the pictures and brightened them up a bit to show off the knife better.

Nice knife. The blade does seem look long, yet fits where it came from. Definately alot of blade on this knife!
