Borrowing from the MuleProject, I'm going to call this thread the SwickProject, where Swick owners can post up their latest Swick projects, customizations, and aftermarket accessories.
So, for the first post of the SwickProject thread, there is good news, Halpern Titanium of Massachusetts, will be making G10 scales for the Swick3 and 4, starting in January of 2014, with a reasonable price of $20.00 for a slim line flat G10, and $40.00 for a patterned G10. The scales will be available in a dark green and a digicam similar to the PM2.
Halpern has had a long standing relationship with Spyderco from what I understand, and they have manufactured many of the custom G10 scales one has seen on the Mules. They will continue that tradition of supporting aftermarket scales for Spyderco's with this new project.
Finally, my search is over for custom scales for my Swick(s), and I can now focus my attention to just buying knives.
One more thing, Halpern will sell the scales directly to the consumer, and not to distributors, which will keep the price of the scales at the price that they will be offered at.
