SwiftKey Android Bug?

Just recently, there is a new bug when typing with the SwiftKey app on this forum (maybe all forums powered by XenForo software). Swiftkey will enter seemingly random letters, and when selecting a suggested word it will append some of the letters to what you have already typed. For example, when I type "world" and select "world's" from the suggestions, Swiftkey enters "worldwor".

Anyone else having this issue? I have not had this happen anywhere else, and have been using SwiftKey here for years.

happened to me too same time when the forums stopped showing last posts. uninstalled swiftkey and forum bug still exists.

not sure what's going on or if anyone else gives a damn. its really annoying though
 
I use switfkey. Writing even a short simple post on my phone is nearly impossible. It keeps moving the cursor to random places, causing unintended autocorrects, and replacing what I try to correct with autocorrects with what I originally wrote, but in the wrong place. Infuriating. I'm pretty sure it's not the keyboard though, but this forum's new software. Never had those problems with the old software.
 
Yes tgistis infuriating. ItIhas greatly reduced my paricippartic here.

Same here. Sometimes itsi better tban others but most timestitsitsuper annoyian and the wrirdeatwbug.

That sentense isiactually betterbtban most bave been recenrece.
 
I was a Swiftkey user for years but recently switched over to Gboard (Google's keyboard, and the default option in stock Android). I assume Switkey will patch this soon but Gboard has been a lot less buggy.
 
I don't think it is a SwiftKey bug... Considering it only happens on this site.
 
it started a few weeks ago I think. after I uninstalled swift I didn't have anymore issues with the keyboard but obviously I'm not using swift anymore. only happened on the forums.

at the same time this happened the forum wouldn't show last post. I think they are ties together. even today I'm having issues with lastpost functionality on the forum.
 
Fixed! Received this yesterday from SwiftKey in reply to my ticket...

"We have rolled out the newest version of SwiftKey that has fixed the weird jumbled word bug.

Please update SwiftKey to get the latest fix. If you are still having this issue or something similar, please write back and let us know."

SwiftKey installed again. Bug looks to be resolved. Wonder if the bug where the forum wasn't opening the last post is still an issue or not.

Another note though, I was using Google keyboard and it was having the same jumbled bug that SwiftKey had. Weird.
