I took a couple of hours when I should have been doing other things :D and some scrap G10 and did a "swift & quick" job putting grips on a Swick2. It is IMO a nice improvement on the knife's handling, but YMMV.

Nice!

Yeah baby! I only have the 1st Gen. version (and I 'effing LOVE it :D One of the BEST all-around designs ever!) but I have no doubt the Gen. 2's are awesome being pointier and slightly bigger.

That looks great. Really changes the look. Matching kydex in the works?

Thanks, and yes it does - handling, too. Kydex, probably. I want to do something that would be belt-wearable via Teklok-type mount, I think. I have a kydex deadline coming up for my younger son (sheath for a double bit axe) so this will ride along on the coattails of that project.

That looks terrific, the red looks like a Jolly Rancher candy. What kind of torx bolts are those? I'm going to try and scale the one I have, but I have no idea what size to get.

Thanks - the threaded connectors and screws came from Halpern Titanium...they were...ahem..."borrowed" from a set of the HT Mule grips...but won't be going back, since I had to cut the connectors in half! :D

So, the connectors are 3/16 OD. Not sure what the screws are. If you're willing to cut them in half (I used a thin cutoff wheel on a Dremel), call Melanie at HT (tel. # at www.halperntitanium.com).

I thank you Sir. Again nice work, I saw your first post in the Spyderco forums. I hope mine come out that nice. :D
I was going to ask, could you do a top - down shot? I'd like to see what the scale thickness is like. It looks thin, but comfy.

Thanks, will do - but until I get that done, it's 1/8" red/black G10. I think it came from KnifeKits.com originally.

In my scrap box :D but I'm nearly certain it originally came from KnifeKits.com. It would be 1/8" red/black G10.
