After seeing the new Cheetah from Case, I have found that I have re-kindled an old flame. I loved these knives when I was a youngster and I think I just might start a collection of this old favorite. Anyone else love this pattern as much as I do?

Yeah,I have a small collection of the 6111 1/2s.Carried one for quite a few years, and retired it.Great pattern.

Keith, Hold on to your hat there's gona be a hot time
tonight!!!!!!

Queen is gonna' make a swing guard in D-2 in many
different handles.....

Somebody stop me 'fore I buyem' ALL!!!!!!

Thanks for the heads up. I am going to have to get ahold og one of these. Sure hope one of those handle materials is stag.

Keith, check out my thread on Queen's about a week ago. I posted
links to pic's from the catalog. I can tell you that Queen doesn't have
any stag, but they do have a some bone worked to look and feel like
stag that is so close it hard to tell it isn't stag. Queen's wrokmanship
is some of the very best in slipjoint type knives.

When I was younger I really liked swing guard knives and I still have a 70's era Case lockback with a swing guard. Another related pattern that I wouldn't mind getting would be one of the old bowtie knives with the guards built into the bolsters.

Swing guard fans.....Heads up!!!

A.G. Russell is running a weekly special on his swing
guard that is a beauty for a user at a great price. I've eye
balled that knife for a long time and now I've got one on
order. Check it out.
