I thought the RAT Pack might find this article of interest. It will possibly be in the next edition of the Stikbow Hunter eMagazine, but thought I would share it here knowing that most may not get the chance to view it.

Its primarily a 'first impressions' article of both Martins Technical Kydex sheath and the E4. I am no pro when it comes to writing articles etc, so don't go too hard on me! :D

It was a good chance to try out the Canon EOS 7D too...

Enjoy...

Thanks for the fun read! This article and pictures should hold me over. I ordered my ESEE 4 and it arrived over the weekend. Hopefully the postal service will bring it later today.

I believe that there was a mistake in that the orange handles are actually G-10 and not Micarta.

You are correct! Good pick up and thanks. Doc merged into 1 PDF for download.

Great photo`s!

I just orderd a kydex sheat for my F1 from Martin! Looking even more forward to recieve it now!
Thanks

I really like the MOLLE sheath that I got with my 4, it's great. But Martin makes fantastic looking sheaths! I'd love some of his work.

Nice review and good pics, thanks Gundy.

Does that pouch fit an altoid tin?

Im definitely picking one of those sheaths up. Thanks for the review!

Very nice review. I am having make one my ESEE-4with orange handles too except I was thinking of having the sheath in tan with a tan pouch. After seeing that set up I may have to copy it.

Otherwise, nope. Multitool, larger SAK or other folder, or just a few essentials can be added. It does have elastic sides, though, so it can expand a little.
That review was great. Thanks for sharing! Nice photos, as well (from another Canon guy)!
I have a Swinkels sheath for my RC3, and it's awesome. Martin does outstanding work, and was super easy to get in touch with.

Nice review, Martin does make some of the best. I hope you don't mind a few more pics. I've often wondered if this is the only kydex/leather Izula sheath he's done.

If so, there's about to be another one. He's been making one for me that should hopefully be done any day! Just like that one but the kydex is molded for Izula with scales. :D
