This knife is for a collector on the forums. I'm extremely happy with the way it turned out. This last week has been very hectic. I had to have knives built for a display at the county fair as well as having one to show at a forging demo I was doing at the Heartland conference being held at my in-laws ranch. I got three of them done, this one, an integral, and a bowie, but I was hoping to have four. I'll show the others later.

Hope you enjoy it.

The specs are:

Blade - 5 inches of swirly w's damascus in 1084 and 15n20 with a raised clip(my first one).

Guard - 416 pressed fit with black and red spacers.

Handle - Stabilized Amboyna with a domed 1/16" pin.

OAL - 9 3/4"

Mike, I just loaded one of those into a separate window and they linked. Them, and others on your Flikr site.

Crikey Mikey! Boy, those are as crisp as I've ever seen. You HAVE to get them to show. What satisfaction to view!

You done gooooood.

Coop,

Thanks for your help, and kind words. I found the URL but it still wouldn't go. I give up, I'm sticking to making knives. I'll let my wife do the photo posting, she's a computer teacher and not technically challenged like me.

Mike who?
:p
I mean, seriously, where did you come from all of a sudden? Seems like only a few months ago you posted a knife which blew my mind. Now this.
How long have you been at this? And why haven't you been on my radar for longer than a few months?

I gotta spend more time in shoptalk.

Oh about the knife; raised clip:thumbup:, psychedelic pattern welds:thumbup:, a super cool retro guard/spacer combo:thumbup:, shapely ergonomy with beautiful wood nicely finished and a classy domed pin:thumbup:. There is still so much more to say about this knife, but I'm tuckered out, so I'll just say; WELL DONE!

VERY nice knife indeed! That damascus looks great in the picture and must be spectacular when holding it. The burl looks great too!

Peter
